Referencing the legacy of settled agriculture and civilization that began in Yumuktepe thousands of years ago, the Mersin Efrenk Life Valley project reunites the power of soil and water with a sustainable urban infrastructure along the Müftü Stream axis; bringing together production-oriented urban agricultural zones, ecological corridors, active recreational areas, continuous walking and cycling routes, and local producer-focused public spaces into a holistic landscape design framework, offering a sustainable urban model of the future where nature is not merely observed, but lives and regenerates together with the urban community.
